Marianne Blechingberg Appointed Treasurer of THLG

We are pleased to announce that Hacklin Managing Director Marianne Blechingberg will continue her work on The Heavy Lift Group (THLG) Executive Committee and take on the role of Treasurer for the coming term.

THLG 2026 Executive Committee Confirmed in The Hague

The Heavy Lift Group confirmed its Executive Committee following elections held during the group’s 74th Conference in The Hague. Members re-elected Elisabeth Cosmatos as President and Alessio Bianchi as Admissions Officer. Marianne Blechingberg will continue her tenure on the Executive Committee and assume responsibility as Treasurer, while Richard Lee will continue as Corporate Responsibility & Sponsorships Manager.

Joining the Executive Committee as a newly elected member is Donald Kinsella, who will serve as Business Development Officer. Members also elected Ragan Watson, MBA and Sanjna as THLG’s Ad Hoc (stand-by) Executive Committee members, providing additional support and continuity to the group’s leadership structure.

Built on collaboration, trust, and shared expertise, THLG brings together leading project cargo and heavy lift specialists from around the world. The newly elected Executive Committee will continue to guide the organization’s development, strengthen cooperation among members, and support growth across the global project cargo community.

The elections, conducted in line with THLG’s member-driven and democratic principles, reflect the confidence placed in the leadership team to steer the organization forward. THLG also expressed its sincere appreciation to Colin D’Abreo for his dedicated service as Treasurer and Executive Committee member, recognizing his valuable contribution to the organization.
